Hi! I tore my ACL skiing in Austria, on the same day I underwent surgery (I live in Germany).
It was a primary ACL repair (Refixation of the ACL with a 2,6 knotless Arthrex). Unfortunately, it didn’t work completely, in the MRI the orthopedist don’t see it clearly as it should, it Looks more Like an S shape and the Lachman Test confirms that my knee is a bit loose.
1 doctor says that I can train my muscles the next 3-6 months, to see if they stabilize my knee and two other doctors say that I need a reconstruction.
I am still unsure what to do, because I dont want to live limited and I dont Trust my knee and if in 3 months it still feel the same maybe it is better just to do the surgery asap. Has anyone had a primary repair?
