Hi! My office is currently trying to plan outdoor movie nights for this upcoming summer, and none of us really know anything about how to purchase a projector or screen for viewing. We will likely be hosting these movie viewings at night when it's dark outside, with up to 50 people in attendance. I'm thinking this would be held outdoors at a nearby park with an open grassy area for sitting. I am looking for any somewhat inexpensive recommendations on a projector and screen to purchase that would fit what we're looking for, if possible! Also, any tips on projecting a movie outdoors at night would be helpful!
Since the event will be outside, we would need to purchase a projector that can be charged prior to movie watching. The projector should also work internet-free, maybe by having an HDMI connect to a pre-downloaded movie on a laptop? I would also prefer for the screen to be sturdy or able to be secured to the ground as not to fly away from potential light winds. Also not sure about purchasing speakers for the outdoor movie, as I'm sure the projector wouldn't have loud enough speakers on its own?
