We have a tree (green ash from what google says?) in the backyard that we don’t want to cut, but we had a tree company inspect it to see if it was savable or not. They recommended to remove it. This is our first year in this property and it looks like it wasn’t had tlc from previous owners.

It looks like it is dying, has had bugs live in it and woodpeckers at one point from what I heard. I do see newly sprout branches on the side close to the trunk, as we have been mulching and watering it daily.

Would like to see anyones opinion on it.

We live in Virginia Beach VA, the pictures are taken first day of may. Thank you for any input shared!
