I’ll be in London alone for a few days in August and already booked Operation Mincemeat and Hadestown. I still have one evening free and can’t decide what to add.

Some musicals I’ve seen and absolutely loved:

  • Cabaret (the current London production)
  • Book of Mormon
  • Hamilton
  • Maybe Happy Ending

I usually connect really strongly to the music and end up listening to the cast recording for weeks after, so that’s probably the most important thing for me.

Right now I’m considering Pride the musical or Les Misérables, but I’m very open to other recommendations too.

What would you pick?
