TRV APPROVAL UK
I got so stressed when I was checking for timelines because I have never had to wait that long for any visa, but luckily I didn’t have to and I’m sharing this in case it helps someone.
Currently in the UK on a student visa and here’s my timeline (First time applicant).
Visa type: Visitor
Applied: 08 April, 2026
Biometrics: 10 April, 2026
PPR: 07 May, 2026
Passport sent: 08 May, 2026 (It was a Friday, so it could not be delivered till Monday 11th)
Vfs passport submission: 11 May, 2026
Case closed: 13 May, 2026
Approval and vfs notification: 14 May, 2026
Passport delivered: 15 May, 2026
From Biometrics to approval: 34 days.
Submitted no bank statement but letter of funding (studentship) with a supporting letter from my boyfriend saying I wanted to come visit for my birthday. Nothing done out of the ordinary.
