Esmod OR Polimoda
How should Asian international students choose between ESMOD and Polimoda for fashion design master??
I’m actually open to any schools in the same tier, and I got offers from both esmod and polimoda— one is in Paris, and the other is in Florence.
Here ate the pros and cons:
1️⃣In terms of teaching staff and faculty, it seems like Polimoda is currently a bit stronger.
2️⃣For location, though, ESMOD might have the advantage. But in Paris, ESMOD’s resources aren’t considered especially top-tier, since there are many other stronger schools there. Im also worried that I don’t speak fluent french can bring me no opportunity compared to other French students. So as for job opportunities, each school has its own strengths….
3️⃣Their attitudes toward Asian students also seem fairly similar. I don’t speak any of French or Italian so I have to study.
I just don’t know how to choose. I am a student who didn’t study fashion for my undergrad, so I know IFM is the best choice but they prbly wont take me.
Marangoni also has a very good location, but it seems their teacher and education resources don’t outbeat Polimoda. I guess the job opportunities won’t be a lot different as well.
My goal is to stay and work in the fashion industry in EU after finishing the master so I wonder any recommendations?
