If I could leave a zero I would. Astound is the worst internet and cable tv provider I've ever had. I had to call and spend hours on the phone every month for 6 months because my service would cut off. I wasn't provided any compensation for the time or bad service. Finally they told me the equipment i had wasn't used anymore. They gave me new equipment but it doesn't work half the time. The tech didn't explain how to use it, and come to find out he didn't do it right. I've called repeatedly asking for help with using the recording/dvr and explaining the error messages I'm getting, but none of the reps seem to be listening to me because they just keep giving me the same instructions, which don't work because there's an error. After another approximately 6 months, I get a rep who did something and I get a msg on the TV that recordings can now be set up. My request for a bill credit was denied. I also pay $308 a month for the crappy service and they refuse to lower the price. New customers can get higher internet speeds than I have and at half the cost i pay. This is the only provider offered at my apt complex so I'm screwed. I will not be renewing my lease here because of how bad Astound is. It's not possible these days to function without internet service, and I've been taken advantage of for years.
