I’ll probably get booed for this but idk man, it’s a mess for sure and all of Levinson’s worst tendencies are definitely on display, but I think what it’s going for here’s more interesting than Seasons 1 and 2 doing prestige TV Skins.

As insane of a comparison this might be, I’m having a blast with the bootleg De Palma/Verhoeven vibes, feels like the show’s really leaned into the trashiness that’s always been there.

I do also appreciate how it’s at the very least trying to examine how hellish the 2020s have been, even if Levinson isn’t a good enough writer to fully pull that off.

For all its faults, I can’t help but feel like it’s some of the most fascinating stuff on TV right now.
