Okay, real talk.

I’m graduating from NIFT in a month.
Portfolio? Ready.
Skills? Decent.
Confidence? …depends on the day.

Placements this year feel like a clearance sale no one told us about.
Some companies showed up like surprise guests no one invited.
The known ones? Came with *“1 opening only”* energy.
Salary? Let’s just say it’s giving *“passion is your payment”*.

And it’s not even about chasing big brands.....it’s about finding *something* that respects the work we do. Because 4 years of critiques, all-nighters, breakdowns over fonts (yes, fonts) should count for something, right?

I’m mainly into graphic design, branding, visual storytelling, all that good stuff.
Also know video editing + a bit of UI/UX (basically a “jack of all trades, hire me pls” situation).

Right now I’m trying to figure out:

* What do companies ACTUALLY want from freshers?
* Which skills are non-negotiable in 2026?
* How do you stand out when everyone’s portfolio looks ✨aesthetic✨?

If you’ve been through this chaos:
Drop your wisdom.
If you know someone hiring:
Drop a referral.
If you’ve figured life out:
Drop the blueprint 😭

Anyway, if nothing works, I’ll just rebrand unemployment as “freelance exploration phase.”

Thanks for coming to my.......Talk.
