[HAUL/FIT] 6 clean layered looks for mid-season

Got some new stuff in for the transitional weather. Loved how the layering turned out. Kept it pretty tonal and functional, lots of light outerwear, denim layering, and comfy sneakers.

The fits:
1. Grey washed bomber with contrast denim collar + black trousers + white retro trainers + leather backpack.
2. Black harrington-style jacket over a denim shirt + light grey cargo pants + panda-style sneakers.
3. Light wash denim jacket layered over a grey hoodie + black pleated trousers + white leather sneakers + nylon crossbody.
4. Denim overshirt layered over a white tee + brown pleated trousers + black canvas sneakers.
5. Black bomber with denim collar + cream trousers + white retro trainers.
6. Tan/beige zip-up coach jacket + light blue wash jeans + white sneakers + small nylon bag.

They all fit pretty relaxed, which is my go-to vibe.
Btw, I’m still looking for a solid seller for this kind of high-quality outerwear. If anyone knows a good store that does these relaxed fits and good fabrics, please drop the name below!

Lately I’ve been loving dark graphic tees and cargo pants for daily wear 🖤

Hey everyone! Lately I’ve been swapping out plain basic tees for vintage band tees and graphic polos. Paired them with some cargo pants and low-profile shoes—super easy to throw on, but still looks like you put some thought into it.

Out of these 6 layouts, which vibe feels most like your daily style?

Drop a comment below if you want links for any of the pieces!

[WDYWT] A few recent pickups for late summer and early fall

I've been moving away from loud graphics lately and focusing more on fabric, texture, and silhouette. These are a few pieces I've picked up recently that work well together in rotation.

The common theme is relaxed tailoring, textured knits, washed fabrics, and earthy colors. Most of the outfits are built around wide-leg pleated trousers, lightweight knit polos, camp-collar shirts, and simple leather shoes. Nothing overly complicated—just pieces that layer well and are easy to wear.

The pleated trousers have probably been the biggest surprise. The higher rise and wider leg give them a clean drape without looking oversized, and they've been easy to style with both knitwear and casual shirts. The textured knit polo and the crinkled zip shirt also stood out because they add depth to an outfit without relying on bold graphics.

Overall, I've been enjoying clothes that focus more on proportion and fabric than obvious logos or statement pieces. It makes getting dressed a lot easier, and everything mixes together naturally.

If there's a particular outfit or item you'd like a closer look at, let me know in the comments. I'm happy to share more details or measurements if it helps.

Been into darker fits lately. How's this combo?

I've been trying to build a wardrobe that's a little different from my usual basics, so I picked up a few pieces over the last month and finally put them together.

I wasn't sure if the distressed denim, oversized tee, and accessories would work together, but I actually like how it turned out. The whole outfit has that worn-in, slightly grungy feel without being too loud.

The jeans are probably my favorite part. They looked a bit over the top in the photos, but once everything was on, they felt surprisingly easy to wear. The sneakers were kind of an impulse pick, but they've grown on me too.

Still feel like something might be missing, though. Maybe a different belt, different shoes, or less accessories?

What would you change? And which piece stands out the most to you?

If you're curious about any specific item, let me know in the comments and I'm happy to share more details.

Didn't expect this bag to end up in my daily rotation

I wasn't planning on getting another everyday bag, but this one has been surprisingly practical.

What sold me was the all-black look. The matte leather has a subtle texture, and paired with the black hardware, it keeps everything looking clean without trying too hard.

The size is probably my favorite part. It's roomy enough for my daily essentials—wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small charger, and a few extras—but it still doesn't feel oversized when worn.

I've also found that it works with almost everything I wear, whether it's denim and sneakers or something a little more put together. That's probably why I've been reaching for it more than I expected.

Always interested in seeing what everyone else has been carrying lately. What's been your best bag purchase this year? If there's anything specific you'd like to know about this one, just ask below and I'll share my experience.

[OOTD] Four retro knit polos/tees I’ve been rotating lately

I’ve been trying to make my summer outfits look a little more put together without wearing anything too heavy, and knit short-sleeve tops have been working really well for that.

These are four recent pickups I’ve been wearing a lot. They all have different details, but they share that slightly retro, patterned knit look.

1. Cream Fair Isle knit tee with lace detail

This one is probably the softest-looking out of the four. It has a cream base with a dark Fair Isle-style geometric pattern around the neckline, plus a subtle lace panel underneath that makes it feel less like a standard patterned knit.

It has a very easy vintage / French casual vibe. I’d wear it with denim shorts, a midi skirt, or tailored shorts and loafers.

2. Black horse-pattern knit polo

This one is more sporty and structured. It has a small polo collar, two contrasting buttons, and a repeating horse motif across the chest with geometric knit details underneath.

The black base makes it easy to style, but the pattern keeps it from looking too plain. I think it works best with khaki trousers, relaxed jeans, or a simple skirt and sneakers.

3. Black dachshund half-placket knit

The dachshund pattern is what made me pick this one up. It has a half-placket with small gold-toned buttons, a row of white dachshunds across the chest, and a wider geometric pattern below.

It’s definitely the most playful one here, but still easy to wear because the rest of the top is black and white. I’d pair it with dark denim, a pleated skirt, or oversized trousers.

4. Brown geometric striped knit tee

This is the most obviously retro one. The dark brown base, layered geometric stripes, and textured knit pattern all feel very 1970s-inspired without looking like a costume.

The colors are mostly brown, cream, grey, and muted blue, so it looks especially good with corduroy, denim, plaid, or other earthy tones.

Overall, I like that none of these feel overly basic, but they’re still wearable for normal summer outfits. The knit texture also makes a simple outfit look more intentional.

Which one would you wear most: the Fair Isle, horse polo, dachshund knit, or brown geometric tee?

Picked Up a Few Gifts for My Cousin

My younger cousin has been working really hard lately, so I wanted to put together a few small gifts for him.

No special occasion—just felt like the effort deserved to be recognized, regardless of the outcome.

Ended up choosing things that I thought he'd actually use:

  • A comfortable pair of recovery slides
  • A simple knit polo for everyday wear
  • A large insulated tumbler
  • A pair of smart audio glasses

Nothing over the top, just practical items that can become part of his daily routine.

I'm curious—what's your go-to gift for someone in their late teens or early twenties? I always find practical gifts end up being the most appreciated.

All Day Wear | One pair that works from city walks to light trails

Been rotating this pair quite a lot lately as the weather starts to shift.

A pair of urban trekking-style shoes that sit somewhere between a sneaker and a light outdoor shoe. Works surprisingly well for both daily commuting and weekend walks.

The upper has a rugged, workwear-inspired design but still keeps a clean overall look. Breathable enough for everyday use, and comfortable from the first wear without needing much break-in time.

What stands out most is the outsole. The tread pattern feels well-designed, with solid grip on both city pavement and uneven ground. So far, stability has been consistent across different surfaces.

The midsole cushioning is light but supportive. Enough comfort for long hours on your feet, whether that’s commuting during the week or walking longer distances on weekends.

Styling-wise, it’s very easy to match. Works with denim, cargo pants, or relaxed everyday fits without feeling too technical or too casual.

Overall, just a reliable all-round pair that ends up getting more wear than expected.

W2C | Looking for pieces similar to this knit polo outfit

Came across this outfit recently and really liked the overall look. The color palette, textures, and relaxed fit are exactly what I've been trying to add to my wardrobe.

For anyone who owns similar pieces, I'd be interested in hearing what brands or alternatives you'd recommend. I'm mainly looking for good materials, solid construction, and a clean fit rather than anything logo-focused.

For reference, I'm 181cm and usually wear a US 10 / EU 44.

Appreciate any suggestions.
