Hey everyone.
I got 2 job offers and I just don’t know for which one I should decide. I’m stuck honestly.
Both positions are in the public-sector, and both companies have a strong reputation.

I got accepted for:
-mechatronics, automation engineering apprenticeship
-IT system technician apprenticeship

The mechatronics job has a better starting pay, higher chances of being kept after training and seems very hands-on. I like the idea of building and working with machines, understanding them and solving real technical problems.

The IT job is something i originally wanted to pursue. It has a more traditional career path and I could potentially grow over time, but it’s less possible to get a long-term placement and it depends on available positions.

Right now I’m honestly more drawn to mechatronics but I keep thinking IT might be a better offer to long-term career opportunities.

I don’t want to make a decision I’ll regret later.

Any advice or perspective would help.

Thanks!
