Help with post transplant care for my mom's liver transplant
My mom had a liver transplant two weeks ago today. We are in the waiting period for my FMLA and her SSI. This has all lived so fast it's been a blur and at this point untill at least my FMLA kicks in in 3-6 weeks I have completely exhausted my funds. No one in the family is willing to help more then a phone call wishing her well and I don't know what else to do. I hate asking strangers for help but right now I can't see us making it to our appointments soon because Im running out of gas money fast. Everything helps and if anyone knows how to get more attention to something like this feel free to suggest whatever. Thanks again
