Hi everyone,
I’m a U.S. Citizen and I filed for my wife’s adjustment of status (I-130 and I-485) while she was on an H-1B visa. We just received our interview notice and I wanted to share our timeline and ask for some advice.
Timeline:
• Priority Date: 04/03/2025
• Biometrics Completed: 04/27/2025
• Interview Date: 06/09/2025
As we prepare for the appointment next month, I have a few questions for the community:
• For those who transitioned from an H-1B, were there any specific questions regarding employment or maintenance of status?
• What are some general tips for the interview day to ensure things go smoothly?
• How should we best organize our supporting documents and new evidence of bona fide marriage to present to the officer?
