Question for anyone who may have had a similar issue.
Currently in Tokyo rn. It's my 5th trip so it's not my first time and just general confusion. Never had any problems with tapping to pay until now.
Everything was fine until i attempted to pay at a bar yesterday morning. I took the case off and the phone still wouldn't register and ended up using my card. Restarted my phone in the evening and it still will not register at any 7eleven/Lawson/Family Mart or any other contactless payment device no matter which way i point it.
The only other thing i can think of is my pocket wifi fucking up but that doesn't seem right.
Thinking of the daunting idea of going to Apple but i don't know enough Japanese to convey that i'm not an idiot and the shit just literally isn't working.
Anyone had something similar happen with contactless payments?
