canvas hack

since VT primarily uses canvas and it is now hacked supposedly until at least may 12th, what does this mean for finals? if there are any professors/TAs here, would exams likely be cancelled? pushed? if they would be pushed, what about students with travel plans, flights, etc?

what do you guys think the flow is gonna sound like on this new project? he did the same triplet flow on every single song on ILDMLFY, which has definitely gotten tired for me. do you think he'll be singing, maybe slower flows like cornballs? or the same triplet flow?

it's like the giant steps of beats in terms of producers and then it has some of carti's best vocal performances, the second verse is so crazy in terms of flow and delivery. i got pegged for the first time last night. what do you guys think?

i am currently taking embedded (ECE 2564), and they've talked a lot about how the course will change extensively in future semesters due to AI.

in my semester and the last few they've honor coded a ton of people for ai stuff but they know people are using it anyway, so they're transitioning to a new system where the class will be based on live coding assessments using a new website they've developed. similar to lockdown browser.

thought this would be helpful information for anyone taking the course next sem.

edit from TA:

TA here, correcting some of what you said since some stuff is incorrect. The course will be changing heavily next semester, but not for the reasons you think. The course is likely going to be almost completely rewritten over the summer since we're looking at new hardware, which is why it's going to change extensively, not because of AI. We still plan on making the course focused around projects, which it is right now, and not around the live coding assessment software. The live coding assessment may be part of the exams in the future, but we do not plan on moving the course away from being mostly project-centric.
