Selected for active duty OCS! How long from signing to shipping out?

Just found out I got selected for OCS, still can’t believe it honestly! Signing my contract this week and I’ll get my ship date at signing. For those who went active duty: how long did you wait between signing and actually shipping? Did your date get moved at all? Trying to plan my life around a realistic wait, so real timelines would help a lot. Thanks in advance, and congrats to everyone else who made it, we did the thing!! (:

August OCS board results, has anyone heard anything yet?

My recruiter told me August 10th would be the latest for results to drop for the August board. Has anyone gotten theirs yet, or heard anything through their recruiter? Also curious if there’s usually a specific time of day these come out or if it just varies. Super excited and trying not to stare at my phone waiting for my recruiter to text (: Good luck to everyone!

Interservice 368 stuck with tight OCS timeline - has anyone dealt with this?

I’m prior-enlisted Air Force on IRR switching to Army OCS. Board results come June 12th, and I have ten days from selection to submit my 368 conditional release. Problem is, my 368 has been sitting with an Air Force technician for over a month now with no completion date. I’ve been calling AFPC constantly and have an update request pending, but my recruiter says there’s nothing more the Army side can do to push it.

Has anyone gone through an interservice transfer on a tight timeline like this? What happened if your 368 didn’t clear by your deadline? Are there contingencies, or does a delayed release kill your selection?

I’m doing everything I can on my end. Just trying to figure out if there’s a move I’m missing or if this is just a waiting game at this point.

Board went well May 5th, no official results yet, packet supposed to go up to USAREC today, recruiter not responding. Should I be worried?

Hey everyone, looking for some perspective from those who’ve been through this. I had my OCS battalion board on May 5th and it genuinely felt like it went really well. The board was reacting positively to my answers in real time, saying things like “great answers” and “wow I really like that.” So I do really feel like I was recommended, but of course I don’t know for sure since official results haven’t been released yet.

Today, May 8th, was supposed to be the day my packet gets pushed up to USAREC. I still haven’t heard official board results, and my recruiter hasn’t responded to my latest check-in. I’ve tried messaging and calling and haven’t gotten through yet.

I’m trying not to be too impatient and I trust that my recruiter knows what he’s doing way more than I do, but the silence today specifically is making me anxious because of the deadline. Is no news at this point normal three business days after the board? Should I just assume silence means my packet got pushed up and things are moving? Or should I be following up more aggressively? Any perspective from people who’ve been through this part of the process would help me a lot. Thanks in advance.
