Does recruiter lie when they tell you that you're a good fit and I will talk with HR
Does recruiter lie when they that you're a good fit and I will talk with HR
I recently went to a off campus hire at IBM, cleared voice test, went for an offline assessment in a college.
It was a sliding window question with 40 min duration.
Solved the problem with passing full test cases.
The interview was on next day went there, attended interview. The interviewer was a nice guy we had a good conversation. He was impressed by the fact that I'm a freelancer (I guess). Asked me about my projects, OOPs
DBMS (joins). I answered some and missed some. Then he gave me 3 tricky snippets of which I answered 1.
Then he told me that he will hire me but I'll have to learn Java (I'm a python dev). I told him ok, then here comes the situation... He told me "you're actually good I'll talk with the HR". Then I thanked him for the remarks and left the meeting. It's been 6 days now
Can any experienced ones tell me do they (recruiters) tell everyone this line?
Do my chances increase by this line?
I'm keeping high hopes please spill reality so that I can reduce the damage
