How is it like in BMT for those who are already bald before we even started basic? I decided to go bald months prior to even getting my job for personal reasons and I know there’s haircuts during BMT and whatnot but am I allowed to bring clippers or anything foil shaver and take care of it myself? My hair tends to start growing back every 2-3 days so that’s usually how often I shave
I recently signed my job contract with my recruiter and he showed me everything. For some reason, it wouldn’t allow him to put me down for a 4 year contract and instead defaulted me to 6. He did say that I should make sure MEPS changes it to 4 before I ship out but generally speaking, is this common for 1N4X2?
Recently booked 1N432 Cryptologic Analyst and while I’m getting ready for BMT, I’ve heard that you have very limited time to create your dream sheet. I know it’s just a “dream” sheet but I’d like to at least go into BMT knowing what options are realistic for a 3 level in this job. I’ve asked on TikTok and my recruiter himself but all I’ve been able to gather is Lackland, Hickam, Ft Meade, and a base in Georgia (forgot the name). Just looking for some info as to what options I realistically have so I don’t go to BMT and waste time and space on my dream sheet.

My recruiter called me earlier this morning letting me know he got me 1N432! However, he didn’t go over any ship out date or when to come in and sign anything and I don’t see anything on Aim High how others see their job and or ship date. He only mentioned that he was going to submit me for a credit check/report. Is this a soft book? Am I getting my hopes too high?
