Watched a couple of early heads-on. Let's talk!

Surely, we are on the same page and you too wished you could be among the people who played the game at the event.

Based on everything I've seen, it's great that people still appreciate writing and story over some unreachable level of visuals. I remember how the very same YouTubers reacted to Veilguard - a game with polished and smooth combat animations and lip sync, and what not, but with absolutely terrible writing. No one ever said, "I'd play this for the smooth sweeping moves. Writing is not important to enjoy the game." If you disagree, again, let's talk about it.

What do you think about Dawnwalker now?

  1. Writing is great and I expected nothing less.

  2. The world is interesting to look at and explore while the first tutorials are straightforward. So, the learning curve is dynamic and you're free to roam the Vale as soon as you learn the basics without getting annoyed.

  3. Stiff movements exist. It's not a tragedy for me personally. If you remember KCD games, the people there are awkward and stiff af 😅 it doesn't spoil the story. However, the stiffness is a deal breaker for some gamers and that's understandable.

  4. Didn't see any super new footage regarding gameplay. There was a bit of info about crafting, though.

What were the top 3 things you noticed from the videos?

My opinion about the game didn't change and I'm still very excited to play it.

Having fun before THE event, though I can't unsee it. I wonder who that man is! Will he speak of Destiny? lol
