I hold an Axis Kiwi card and had applied for the YES BANK Kiwi card, but the application was rejected. I emailed YES BANK asking for the exact reason for rejection, but they have been delaying the response for over a month now.

I’ve seen several people mention an RBI directive stating that lending institutions must provide the specific reason for rejection in writing to the applicant. However, while searching online, I found some circulars that appear to have been withdrawn or replaced.

Can anyone help me with the latest RBI directive/circular link and the relevant clause or article number that I can quote while writing to YES BANK?

Also, if banks still refuse to provide the rejection reason, where can such complaints be escalated?
