Green elephant wooden toys

I’m trying to get a Headstart on Christmas. I’ve been looking at Bella Luna toys and love their products however they’re super expensive. Shop recommended green elephant, which I’ve never heard of before. Most previous posts are specifically talking about stepping stones which with two toddlers, I don’t want Styrofoam. I’m looking at wooden toys to inspire my six-year-old‘s growing imagination. Are they any different from Bella Luna? Is there any verdict on whether or not their products are non-toxic? They look exactly the same for a fraction the price. And honestly, the price at green elephant is more fitting for the product. Thanks in advance from a tired mom with 3 youngins.

To add: I already have Sarah silks, open to any other suggestions to inspire creative play!

Tired of stores greenwashing products

It’s amazing how many stores claim to be natural, non toxic, biodegradable products yet the first spray bottle I look at has a plastic lid… or a sponge is blended with plastic..

In my frustration, I’ve asked AI if there are any stores I could rely on when in need of something. I’m not looking to replace everything in my life as that it’s just as bad for the Earth. I would like to make smart decisions with new purchases.

As a mother with little time to shop around, I’d like a store I can go to for a quick purchase and trust that I don’t need to do research.

Has anyone tried these stores or have anywhere else they would recommend for online shopping?

Stuffy & dress up recommendations please!

I have a baby, a toddler and a girl’s bday coming up! They love playing dress up and having stuffy parties. I have purchased stuffed Animals from Under the Nile and dress up from Sarah’s Silks. They have a limited selection and need something new and not ridiculously expensive. I like to stay away from plastic toys and polyester stuffed animals. Wood toys are okay, I prefer to not have too many because my toddler throws them. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome and appreciated! Thank you

Crunchy motivation

I am curious to learn more about your motivation for pursuing a "crunchy" or natural lifestyle. Whether it is driven by environmental concerns, avoiding chemicals, comfort, or simply peace of mind, I would love to hear what motivates your daily choices, as well as any thoughts or concerns you may have.

To add to that, I’ve been wondering: is it possible to be "too natural" with children in a world full of unavoidable toxins? For example, if your child sees another child playing with shiny plastic toys and begs for them to have for themselves at home, how do you typically respond?

I am asking out of pure curiosity and would appreciate your honest perspective.

Bulk pillows

It’s past time to replace pillows… I’ve noticed ALL our pillows are polyester. I’m wanting more non toxic items and ideally more natural but they’re extremely expensive. Are there any bulk deals you have found for say, 6 pillows? What brands would you suggest? Also, what do I do with these old pillows?! Online searching has been stressful for a family of 5 on a budget.

Searching for an affordable hand mirror (6x6 or larger)

Any recommendations for a hand mirror? I’m in need of supplying a bathroom. Brushes/combs would be helpful as well.

We have babies in our bedroom and need blackout curtains. I’ve only found Rawganique as an option but have never purchased from them and see mixed reviews. Any other recommendations out there?
