It's graduation week, and your kids are dumber than you think...

We've all been teenagers, but the last few days have really led me to believe that the current generation might be lacking a bit of common sense. However, as a parent, I know that no parent wants to be thinking about grandchildren or legal troubles in the days following their child's senior year. So after much debate, I decided to let the following video fly in hopes that it will remind some parents that their children might not be as responsible as they think.

So if these are your teens, perhaps educate them on the following points. If these aren't your teens, use this as a moment of education.

  1. Rallying up the vehicles and swapping passengers for some public fornication on a street full of cameras isn't smart.

  2. The car alarm going off while you urinated in public wasn't accidental, it was a warning.

  3. Throwing the used condom beside the sidewalk was a nice gesture. Very classy.

  4. Good thing you finished quickly, because you got out of there about 2 minutes before the Sheriff's showed up.

Swing feedback - 12U

Background: 12U player. Exit velocity with these balls and this bat is normally upper 60s.

Always a good hitter, but has lost a lot of power over the past couple of months. We set up the camera and TAG just to slow things down and get some instant feedback. In the first group of videos I noticed his back foot was flying off the ground as the barrel hit the zone. It was coming 4"-6" off the ground, and moving almost 10" forward. His bottom half look like he was trying to swing out of his shoes.

This is after about 30 minutes working on weight distribution and loading. The back foot is still flying, but not nearly as high or as far forward. What else am I missing here?
