Hi everyone,

My employer was supoosed to notify me when my visa was expiring, I had it noted down but they had by mistake given me the wrong date. It expired on March 5th and then grace period until March 15th I believe.

I found out the status on April 17th and voluntarily left the day I was able to, which was April 22nd. I am now applying for a new visa back home in Canada but I am really nervous it will get rejected. They have provided me with documentation and an explination from the employer and are willing to cover the cost of a new visa.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! x
