ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X issue with Halo Infinite
I love my ROG Xbox Ally X and was excited to get into Halo Infinite as soon as I got it. I was able to play quite a bit! Probably put close to 20 hours or more into it.
Unfortunately one day when I tried to boot up the game, it just wouldn’t pass the initial loading screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Tried the verify and repair option. I’ve even uninstalled Windows entirely and reinstalled it.
I have no idea why the game will just not boot up. All other games work just fine even through Steam, EA, and Blizzard apps. It doesn’t matter what Internet connection I’m on or whether I’m trying to play on the Ally by itself or even on a monitor using the Bulwark Dock.
Can anyone help me solve this problem? How am I supposed to #FinishTheFight ??
*Oh yea, I can play it through cloud gaming, but that seems to be the only solution and I hate playing it that way. Just can’t believe I can’t play Halo on my Xbox 😭
**I attached a picture of the screen it keeps getting stuck on, no matter if I leave it there for hours. It’s right after the intro cinematics, but right before the main startup menu.
