Has anyone successfully used those metallic powder pigments with color shifting on tooled designs? I made a little trinket box with a tooled and painted hummingbird on the lid and was thinking of adding some chrome powder from my art supplies to the body to get that crazy metallic effect that some hummingbirds have. I'm just not sure about the application, like if I should try to buff some of the powder over a layer of resolene, or maybe a very thin layer of leather weld since the powder needs something to stick to for the best effect. Any ideas would help!
