I've been looking at buy an EQ-AL55, but recently found a second hand HEQ5 on marketplace for about 35% less. I don't need the extra weight but saving some money would be nice. Does anyone have any advice on things too look for that might be a problem or any knowledge of reliability issues?

I've been looking at getting a more affordable kit for a while now and have finally decided to take the plunge. I'm wondering if there would be any issues with saving money on a portable power supply by using a Ryobi One+ battery with one of the 12v power source skins.
The mount I want is the Skywatcher EQ-AL55i, which requires 12v 2A. The other electronics I'm planning on running,, other than my camera, are an ASIAIR Mini, ASI120mm guide camera, and a lens heating band.
The Ryobi power source supplies 2.5A from its USB-C and it also has a 12v 10A power outlet like in a car. I've seen plenty of USB-C to 5.5x2.1mm adapters on the market and I can't see any reason that this setup shouldn't work but maybe I'm missing something. Does anyone have any experience running their kit on USB power or know if there might be any problems with powering everything like this?
