I’ve had her for almost a year (August) and she still never wants me near her, even outside the tank. When she sees me, she always scurries away into hiding. She’ll come back out if she sees I’m feeding her and pounce on the fuzzy from the tongs directly.
I want to be able to hold her and let her explore other places in my home safely but I don’t want to stress her out. :(
She’s never really “aggressive”, mostly just looks scared/shy. But if I get close, she will hiss and go pancake mode or hide.
Should I just leave her alone? When I first got her, I was able to scoop her up like once a week and hold her for a bit, but now she just seems scared of me , and I’m scared I’m stressing her out. :(
