I‘m curious if other women have this problem.

i have a relatively small difference between my waist and hips, so pants that fit my hips are too tight on my waist. If I size up to get the waist right, they’re too loose in the hips/thighs/butt. I don’t want elastic pants. I want pants that have a larger waistband - for example, a size 4 pant with a size 6 waistband.

Does anyone else have this problem? which brands/styles have worked best for you?

I‘m particularly interested in pants for work - that seems to be where I have the most trouble. I work in a formal field. I am interested in suits as well.
