Tier list on every Esper morality
Nyles want revenge on his brother and reclaim is house after he was betrayed but unlike other revenge seeking Shadow Decree member it aim to the right person and really for the better, I'm assuming that Drake family is a powerful household similar to Mateo ex-friend Nicholas and Nyles brother played the long game into securing the house to himself even gaslighting Nyles thinking it was his fault that their parents are dead yeah I don't think that a guy should have powerful status
Nyles first appearance was during a charity event for the homeless you could say it was to improve his reputation but considering he was also homeless before joining the Shadow Decree (In which he rejected it the first time) I'm sure he actual care for the poor
Once more I don't think Nyles went to do illegal mission during the time in Decree because he was keeping a low profile and was also testing himself to see what wrong with his powers
I'm not 100% sure Nyles actually good but what I believe in my opinion
