This reel was passed down to me by my grandfather once he passed. Unfortunately it had been sitting in an attic for a while and became warped. Here come the questions

1. could anyone help identify the maker? It says mueller on the butt but after contacting the mueller I found online they said it was not something that they had made

2. would it be worth trying to repair the shaft or to buy a new shaft

3. it seems to be an uncommon thread pitch (I may just know nothing) if anyone can tell what it is that would be helpful as well.
