Hey travelers and visitors,

Local here. Since I just witnessed it again I wanted to make a shout out to everyone how wants to use the public transports. Please make sure you have the correct tickets! They control inside the metro sometimes and regularly at exits. Especially at touristy areas like the Louvre - Palace royal (behind the bend after the entrance). The controller are known to be quit pushy,not speaking much or good English and try to let you pay the fines at the spot. Save yourself from a ruined day and check twice if you have the tickets you need!

Also: don't by tickets from individuals around the stations!
