Opinions pls - 10 week update

Swelling is definitely down from past weeks but the tip still feels extremely wide. I have thick-ish skin (6 or 7/10) and my surgeon was Dr. Bader. Please see my profile for 2 weeks and 6 weeks post op as well as my morphs. I don’t know how quickly I should expect swelling to go down, but I really hope the tip narrows some. I know oftentimes the nose doesn’t end up looking like the morph, but I’d like it to be closer to the morph than it currently is. I can feel that alar rim grafts were added and I’ve read this can widen the nose a bit. I just feel like my nose is too big for the rest of my facial features :/

Also I have pressure/feel like there’s fluid in my ears still after 2 months and my lip/columella is still stiff! Is this normal/to be expected? When will either of these things go away? Also my nose is extremely dry still most days despite using saline spray. Idk what to do honestly.

Hi everyone here is my 8 week update.

I’ve noticed some asymmetry in my nostrils, I’m not sure if this is from swelling or a structural issue. I know it’s still early on so there’s probably no way of telling right now. Has anyone experienced something similar, and did it improve or worsen overtime?

I also feel my tip is too wide for my liking. Again, I know it’s still early on and swelling in the tip is the last to go down, but it’s hard for me to tell how much it’s going to slim down/narrow in the end. It looks so much wider than the morphs he showed and compared to other’s noses he’s done. I’ve been having lots of highs and lows thinking about this. On one hand, I love my side profile and I know I still have 10 or more months to go until swelling is completely gone. However, on the other hand, I’m worried I’m not going to love the width of my tip in the end and feel it is too wide for my face. I am struggling with how optimistic I should be, as I don’t want to be delusional with my expectations.

Before surgery, I didn’t really worry too much about my front profile (only my side), but now I feel like it is switched where I’m no longer worrying about my side profile, but I dislike the front profile.

I know I’ve got a long way to go in my healing journey, and I’m thankful that I have been healing healthily. I guess I’m just looking for some reassurance and to share my experience so far.

For those of y’all with thicker skin, when did you actually start to notice refinement in your tip?

I’m almost 2 months out and my tip is still feeling pretty wide/puffy. I know swelling is the last to go down for the tip, but I was just curious what everyone’s experiences were.
