This was like halfway through a 30 minute hosted race which was my first time using the corvette and I had the lead the entire first half of the race. This guy was I believe slightly faster than me and was trying to get past me for the previous lap and had made some mistakes along the way however all was well. On this occasion he was right behind me for the esses and I believe got a run during them. While I was lining up my car (the red corvette) for the dip I realized at the apex he had somehow got along side. I tried to give him room once I realized and I got hit and spun, I didn’t feel like it was his fault but I do sort of feel bad because it seems like I kinda pushed him off track to causing a lack of grip. Was this my fault?

For background information, I was stuck behind this guy for I think almost half of the race and getting slowed down a lot at various parts of the track. It was getting closer and closer to the end so after I had an amazing run before ford curbs which was one of the places I was a lot faster in so I decided to try to make a move.

At first it looked as though he was blocking me but after looking at the replay it seems as though he was battling the car ahead very hard and I was wondering who was at fault for the incident? I’m not entirely sure what to think for the second incident either. Ps I did accidentally watch the wrong person for a little since it was my first time using the replay for lmu I’m the McLaren (the black and blue one)

For context: this was my first race of on evo in a while and on after turn one on the first lap someone got a good run on me, I decided not to back down and on eau rouge we ended up taking each other out going side by side he told me to kys after it happened. I don’t feel as though I made the best choice in this situation but I also don’t think I was entirely at fault, what do you guys think? If you have any questions ask away.
