Why, when the left lane is ending does the driver in the right hand lane put their left indicator on to merge? Never seen that anywhere else in Australia
Now, we all know Adelaide drivers are quirky aspiring V8 Supercars drivers who sometimes drive in a safe and legal manner but this one quirk is so ubiquitous it baffles me.
I’ve lived in many other states and territories around Australia and nowhere else does the car in the right hand lane put their left indicator on as if they were merging(in to the lane on the left that is in fact ending). Can a local please let me know what’s going on here?
