Taking TEAS... again :(

Hello.

I just took the TEAS today and scored an 81. I got the highest in Science, then Math, Reading, and finally English. I studied for about 2 weeks, but "really" locked in about a week after. I spent close to 5-6 hours studying each day, but I am so disappointed with receiving such a low score.

The nursing programs I am planning to apply to are in Northern California, and one school only allows the retake twice, and the other three times. Also, people are telling me that I need at least a 90 to possibly get in. My science gpa is 4.0, but I'm just super worried that my TEAS will bring everything down!

I bought the ATI Test package and thought the two exams were much more difficult than the exam. I used the app to do a couple of questions, and I think they slightly helped? In addition, I bought the TEAS 7 Mometrix textbook, but I only did the 6 exams that came with it. It was so specific on each subject, and I didn't think I had enough time to go over everything. Some questions were very similar to videos I watched on YouTube. I used Tyler Dewitt and Nurse Cheung to do a lot of science practice questions.

Are there any tips to boost my score? Any specific tips to study the English portion? I will be taking the TEAS again (in about a month) and will be trying to receive at least a 90.

Thank you!!
