Paid $150 to watch Cards, got blacked out.
Blackout issues
I just bought an mlb.tv subscription today for my favorite team, the St Louis Cardinals. I live in Columbus, Ohio. I bought it today on my lunch break, I finished work, went to my dart league, came home to pop the game on relax and go to bed. Game is blacked out. Can’t watch on phone, tv, computer, nothing. They are playing in Pittsburgh (got killed). That is THREE hours away from me and is NOT a local market. Cleveland and Cincinnati are the only local markets in my area.
Spend 40 minutes on hold with customer service. Spend another 30 minutes on the phone with them. Our call gets disconnected, they call me back, and then hang up on me.
Spent $150 on a subscription to watch my team and couldn’t watch them day one and wasted over an hour of my life on the phone trying to get a refund.
How can I fix this or get the refund I’m seeking? Am I missing something? The person on the phone said to link my espn app with my mlb.tv account but that didn’t seem to matter…
