I paid $90,000 for a Pool/Spa
A licensed and insured pool company recently just completed my backyard in-ground pool and Jacuzzi. I pointed out the some of the obvious issues (or what I thought to be issues) to the owner of the pool installation company. He stated everything I mentioned to him was normal and to be expected with a new pool.
He told me that the foot prints would go away as the pool liner settles. I feel the foot imprints are too deep and won’t go away on their own. He said the same goes for the wrinkles in the liner.
I also don’t feel the pavers were installed properly as they have pretty substantial gaps at the corners for the Spa.
Further more, he also said the drip coming from the Hayward sand filter was normal and not to worry about it.
He still needs to hook up the gas line for the heater and another pump for the spa. I need to use him for future closures of the pool or else I will void my warranty so I don’t really want to cause any hostility between us.
I also want to note that I haven’t been in the pool yet. Not sure what to do and would appreciate some pool expert advice!
