I moved out last year, and had to feed myself. So I composed a list of LTB based recipes. This is based on character names in all of LTB and the meal options in Fuga. I have not done every single recipe on this list yet. Since its a lot of french food I have called it peasantmaxxing to friends. Do with this list what you will, if there are any other food ideas I would love to hear it and add it to the list.
So I currently work at a networking vendor as a sort of white-glove TAC. Its fine, the money is good(105k/yr). Its break fix, I like the people I work with, and I work on/around large environments. But I don't see much career progression outside of pay raises, at least into any role that seems interesting.
My previous employer is trying to get me back with matching the pay, plus commission. I would be doing pre/post sales, break-fix/deployments/internal work/probably some running and teaching of the NOC. Its a small MSP to say the least. I like the people involved, and would be able to get to play senior engineer with a bit more experience under my belt. The only downside is the small nature of the work. I do also worry that the salary would be a target here come financial downturn.
Would I be a fool for going back to my previous employer? It feels like throwing away a big tech golden ticket. I only really took the TAC job for money and it just seemed like the thing to do (people joked). Certain skills atrophy in TAC due to the siloed nature of the work which I do fear.
