Hi - I’m a mom and have a child in 5th grade and one in 3rd grade. We have lived in a few different areas and have been lucky to have had wonderful teachers all along. My question is - where is the homework?? My 5th grade student has only EVER had a few assignments come home and I haven’t seen a test all year. My 3rd grade guy brings home tons of school work, but very little homework. As such, anything with a bad grade I can’t help him because I don’t know what he was learning or what the expectations were. My 5th grader could be failing completely- I have no idea! It isn’t just this year or this district, we have rarely seen anything. I’ve asked other parents and they say the same thing. Am I missing something?
