Proficient Accreditation - NSW
I am a recent grad and in my third term of teaching, having started a 12 month contract at a NSW school this year. The school has appointed a mentor as support but I have been told they cannot assist me with the Proficiency Accreditation process. The school won’t appoint the accreditation supervisor until after 12 months of employment and won’t look at accreditation until the second year of employment, which appears difficult given I am employed on a 12 month contract. Any thoughts on the above process ? Doesn’t appear to align with NESA.
