My wife, toddler and I are planning a trip to Paris, and have some extra time and wanted to check out Belgium (Brussels or Ghent) or Amsterdam. We are planning to spend 3 nights in the second city.

I’ve heard that Brussels can be “boring”. Not really sure why, however given we will be with our toddler, we will be taking this trip at a pretty slow pace regardless. I’m looking for some advice/opinions on where and how we spend those 3 nights and in which city!
