I (47F) was at my lowest adult weight in December of 2024 after dropping from 162lbs slowly over many years.

I had a surgical procedure December 2024- to repair an umbilical hernia, repair diastasis recti and remove extra skin (tummy tuck). My highest weight was 220lbs before I gave birth- I was massive for both pregnancies. I can share other “before” pics by dm for ladies that are interested- just comment or reach out.

Post op I maintained that 128-130 for about 6 months. In June of 2025 I started lifting heavier. Worked on progressive overload and also added creatine to my supplements. I lift 5X a week, walk 7 days a week, practice Jiu Jitsu or in nicer months mountain biking for cardio.

It was difficult to see the scale creep up, but it was a slow enough pace and I could certainly see changes in my physique while that was happening. I try not to weigh myself often simply because I’ve spent my whole life being a slave to the scale and the number would often impact how I felt for the whole day.

I eat about 2000 calories daily, give or take 100-200 depending on how my day is. It is nice to never feel hungry. 80/20 nutrition rule with mostly the same meals on repeat every single day.
