When I came to college and heard about dog eared books I thought it was gonna be a cute little small town bookstore. I was so so wrong. Not o my does their name contradict itself but they’re capitalist Amazon wholesale book buyers that cosplays as a local small business while literally running actual small businesses out of town (iykyk)

The concept of “dog-eared” books should’ve been that ALL the books come in preowned- I.e. “dog-eared” like the namesake, but instead it’s jacked up prices that supports “some” authors but not all
