Ok so my mother is in her late 40s and was diagnosed as back as 2014 with bpd but then with paranoid schizophrenia in 2020. Now the meds she was required to take she absolutely refuses to do so . Shes supposed to be on an antipsychotic called risnia but we’ve had absolutely no luck in giving it to her . She figures it out in the first bite of her food , water or any desert and will refuse to take anything or eat anything that is not made by her . The doctors told us the med is tasteless so idk really how she figures it out but maybe it’s the dosage . This has been something we as a family have been dealing with for a long time now and we’ve had no success giving it to her continuously ( she’s supposed to be taking 5ml everyday for life as told by the psychiatrist ) . If there are any creative ways we can get her to take it continuously pls do tell!!

she's
been diagnosed since 2013-14 but I was really young at that time and had no idea she was diagnosed and needed meds. I keep attacking my father now for not taking her health more seriously. Thing is we've tried the talking part and she absolutely refuses to take them herself or by anyone else.
We've been to three psychiatrists in the past 6 years and out of those, my mother has only been in person to those 2. My mother rn absolutely refuses to go see any psychologist and psychiatrist so her current home situation rn is crazy turbulent. Not even one of the psychiatrists or psychologists have given help with the intake of medicines or advice about any facilities ..... the psychiatrist
themselves keep telling me and my dad to find ways to hide it into her food since she absolutely refuses to do
