Damp in bedroom - am I overreacting?
Hi guys, just after some advice please! My boyfriend and I reported the mould and damp in our bedroom at the end of January, and mid-May we are no further forward. The estate agents we went through have sent out five people over the course of the past couple of months to inspect the damp, each time we get the same response that they have passed on the reports to the landlord. Last week we were told by the damp specialist that the cause of the damp is due to next door’s guttering which needs repairing - due to this, rainwater is dripping down the wall and is causing more penetrating damp. The estate agent have come back to us and said there is nothing they can do, and they recommend we knock on next door and ask them to fix this. My boyfriend has asthma and has only worsened since moving in. Am I overreacting about the damp?! I’ll attach some photos. Any help is appreciated!
