Hi everyone! I remember a song from high-school (early 2000) that has been stuck in my head recently but I can’t find anything about it anywhere. The lyrics go (I think):

The things I saw, the things I’ve seen. The things that you wanted me to be. But I cannot change. Seventeen (not sure about that one), we’re back again. You call me up just to be my friend, but things are still the same.

Been so long since we started, even longer we’ve been parted. Doesn’t look like we’re going to make it, but this time, I’m not going to take it. Not going to take it anymore.

Pretty sure it’s punk/pop/emo. Any help would be great!
