Hi, I’m quite new to the art of bonsai and I have a 1 year old jacaranda tree which I grew from seed in spring of 2025. A little less than 2 months ago I repotted the tree, cut a lot of the roots and planted it in this pot. The tree stopped growing and I assume that it put all its energy into growing more roots. Recently it started growing again from the top upwards. I’m am now wondering what I should do and if I am doing anything wrong. I want to bend the stem (7 millimeter thick at the base now) in moyogi style and thought about doing that soon. The tree is 45 centimeters tall right now. Any tips and help would be greatly appreciated!!
