Postal 4 was a hidden gem and rws gets too much hate for how good it was even at launch
Postal 4 was brutally panned at launch due to technical issues poor optimization and apparently "outdated humour" but I feel like it did not get the love and respect it deserved people stated that postal 4 was a broken mess and that made the game inherently bad but why the change of hearts? Postal 2 released in a unoptimized state at launch hell there's still common issues with the game now that makes it a nightmare at times to play but I happily look past all that because behind it is a zany wacky and unique gem of a franchise that I have loved for years and gote into heavy pc gaming I got a whole new pc just so I could play postal 2 I thought I was fantastic then and I'm going to purchase both new versions as I haven't had enough of the game yet unfortunately though for some reason people can't take off their nostalgia glasses when comparing 2 to 4 because they are blinded by their childhood not looking at it critically yet with all due respect postal 4 is hated for having a rough launch but for the content in it and being the most ambitious project they made it truly released as well as a postal game could have the charm of the games is the hanky feel and if you loose that you loose that postal soul that made so many funny childhood memories for me and the humour is just as funny cheesy and outlandish as ever it's not outdated it was never in date the jokes were always heavily poor taste and that's what made them golden id go as far as saying postal 4 made jokes which were at times more offensive than 2 and I loved every second of it people don't hate it because it's a bad game they hate it because people have this complex where they will always be biased for nostalgia over expansion and I feel postal 4 delivered on expanding the universe whilst all the way through be a blast to the past
