My G just got his sim swapped today and has lost 43k he had on his MPesa account.I had warned him about getting his sim protected from swapping but he opted that visiting safaricom shop every time he loses his sim card is tiresome and time wasting. Today he faced the music. In case you didn't know just dial *100*100# to block any sim card swap, the only problem with this is you will always have to visit the safaricom shop with your original ID to replace a lost sim card.
