A dark eyed junco has made this their new home… first time bird god mother, what do I do?

Well the other day I thought my dog was chasing a rat and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was actually a Dark eyed junco protecting its nest. So far I have seen mom, dad, and the 4 eggs in the nest. They are in this plant, about a foot and a half off the ground… is there anything I should be concerned about besides my dog 😭

I should mention that I am a tad bit scared of birds but am determined to have all 4 hatch safely and will do whatever needs to be done.

I could also be in the wrong sub, so please point me in the direction of any advice!! Thank you!
